Specialists
of the closed joint-stock company Nordenergomontage started work on the
overhaul of the first hydroelectric unit of Serebryanskaya HPP-1.
During
the overhaul, a set of works will be performed to restore the standard
operating characteristics of the hydroelectric unit using modern materials and
technical solutions to ensure that it carries a nominal load.
In
particular, the repair of the thrust bearing of the hydraulic unit, the repair
of generator and turbine bearings, the impeller, the oil receiver, the
directing device, the shafts of the turbine and the generator, the technical
water supply system, the alignment of the hydroelectric unit, and much more
will be carried out.
The
major overhaul of hydroelectric unit No. 1 will last until March 10, 2017.
For
your reference: Serebryanskaya HPP-1 is located in the Murmansk region on the
Voron'ya River. It is the upper stage of the Cascade of Serebrianskie HPPs and
is part of the Cascade of the Tuloma and Serebryansk hydroelectric power
stations. The owner of the HPP is PJSC
"TGC-1".
