Specialists of CJSC
"NEM" began assembling hydraulic units at the Kuma and Serebryansk
hydroelectric power stations.
Carrying out major
repairs at the hydroelectric power plant of HPP-9 in the Republic of Karelia
and hydroelectric power station Serebryanskaya HPP-2 in the Murmansk region
goes to the finish line.
A large amount of work
was done to restore and repair the parts
of the unit in the factory, as well as by the specialists of ZAO NEM.
As a result of the
work carried out, for the owner of the HPP of JSC "TGC-1", there will
be an increase in the reliability of the operation of hydraulic units and a
reduction in the costs of operation and repairs in the future, and for the
population and enterprises of the region, uninterrupted and high-quality
provision of electrical energy.

The capacity of the
Kuma HPP is 80 MW, the average annual output is 346 million kWh. In the
building of the hydroelectric power station there are 2 rotary-vane
hydroelectric units with a capacity of 40 MW, operating at a design head of 32
m. Some of the equipment of the hydroelectric power station is obsolete, and
its modernization is required.
The capacity of the
Serebryanskaya HPP-2 is 150 MW, the average annual output is 519 million kWh.
In the building of the hydropower plant, 3 rotary-blade hydroelectric units
with a capacity of 50 MW are installed, operating at a design head of 62.5 m.
The owner of the
stations is "Territorial Generation
Company No. 1".
