Specialists of JSC "Nordenergomontage"
(JSC "NEM") initiated an overhaul of the generating unit on the Kuma
hydroelectric power station, located 50 kilometers from the Zarechensk in the
Republic of Karelia
According to customer's specifications (JSC
"TGC-1"), until 5 February 2012, complex of repairs works will be made to
restore the technological state of the first hydraulic unit of power plant. In
particular, it will be made hydro disassembly,
repair work on the turbine wheel, the guide unit, generator bearings, oil pressure
installation, thrust bearing, oil coolers and turbine shafts, rotor and stator
hydro.
Upon
completion of repairs, after building hydroelectric, it will be held pre-operational
tests and commissioning of the hydropower unit.
