Overhaul of Knyazhegubskaya HPP autotransformer 150/110 kV completed.

Overhaul of Knyazhegubskaya HPP autotransformer (AT-1) started after the malfunctions were detected in its work. IDGC of North-West Kolenergo JSC specialists decided to overhaul and selected contractor through a tender procedure in a short time.

NEM JSC staff began the repair May 25. Prerepair tests, autotransformer opening with drop-over tank lifting and major repair has done during the overhaul.

Full-scale test with the subsequent commissioning of the transformer in operation is carried out now.

Knyazhegubskaya HPP autotransformer (AT-1) 150/110 kV rated power of 90 MVA is an important part in connection layout of Knyazhegubskaya HPP. It’s necessary for reliable power supply to the South power district of Murmansk region, including Murmansk department of Russian railways, municipal and household infrastructure of city Polyarnyye Zori and small villages.
